ARTICLE 15: LOCAL UNIONS - C. RESPONSIBILITIES OF LOCAL UNION OFFICERS
6. The President will chair all Local Union meetings, enforce the Constitution and appoint committees not otherwise provided for. The President will sign all requisitions for expenditures authorized by the Local Union and countersign all cheques issued by the Secretary Treasurer.
The President will be an ex-officio member of all committees with the exception of the election committee.

The President will sign all requisitions for expenditures authorized by the Local Union and countersign all cheques and authorize all electronic payments issued by the Secretary Treasurer but the Local Union By-Laws may provide that one or more other Officers shall have the same authority to sign cheques or authorize all electronic payments. The President will be an ex-officio member of all committees with the exception of the election committee.
